The complete prep workflow for your wedding photo collection
Most couples walk away from the wedding with thousands of photos scattered across cameras, phones, hard drives, and group chats. By the time you want to make a film, a printed album, or a thank-you slideshow, the photos are usually in the wrong format, way too large to share, or trapped inside a single iPhone's HEIC encoding.
This page collects six no-cost tools that solve each of those steps without uploading your personal photos to anyone. Run them in the order below, or jump straight to the one you need.
1. Convert HEIC to JPG (if your photographer used iPhones)
iPhones shoot in HEIC by default. It's an excellent format for storage, but it confuses most album printers, online submission forms, and any software older than 2020. Convert HEIC to JPG before you do anything else. The tool keeps every bit of quality and renames the files for you.
2. Compress the JPGs to free up space
A modern DSLR shot in RAW uncompressed can run 25–40 MB per image. Once you've converted and downsized for sharing, compressing is the fastest way to fit hundreds of photos into one email, one upload, or one cloud-storage folder. The visual difference is invisible at normal viewing sizes — usually a 70–80% file size reduction with no perceptible quality loss.
3. Crop the hero shots for social
Your photographer delivered 3:2 landscape photos — gorgeous for prints, awkward for Instagram. Crop for Reels, square, or portrait with smart center-weighted framing so the bride's face stays on screen. Great for save-the-date reels, Instagram grid posts, and TikTok teasers.
4. Strip the studio backdrop from formal portraits
Most couple portraits come with a clean white, gray, or beige studio backdrop. The background remover cuts that backdrop out so you can drop the portrait over a vineyard, a sunset, or a custom wedding invitation design. Works best on traditional studio shots with even lighting.
5. Build collages for save-the-dates and print gifts
Once your favorites are pre-cropped and clean, the collage maker arranges 2–12 photos into gift prints, invitation inserts, parent albums, and thank-you cards. Pick a layout, type a caption, download as a print-ready PNG.
6. Add names, dates, and captions
Save-the-dates need names and dates. Thank-you cards need thank-yous. Album spreads need dates and locations. Add text to a wedding photo with full font, color, and shadow control.
Once your photos are ready: turn them into a wedding film
Prepping photos is step one. Step two is turning your favorites into a cinematic wedding film. Our AI Wedding Video Generator takes a photo collection and a short description and produces a 60–90 second film in about 48 hours — no editing skills required, starting at $9.9 (≈ ₽891). We've made films for over 500 couples across the US and Europe.

Frequently asked questions
Do these tools send my photos anywhere?
No. Every tool runs entirely in your browser via the Canvas API. The photos never touch a server, are never analyzed, and never appear in any analytics event. You can verify this by opening the page, opening your browser's Network tab, and watching the only requests are for the HTML/CSS/JS files of the page itself.
Are they really free? What's the catch?
Yes, free. The catch — if you can call it that — is that after prepping your photos, we'd love it if you consider our paid AI Wedding Video Generator to turn those photos into a film. No email required to use the free tools, and no nudge to upgrade.
Which image formats are supported?
JPG, PNG, and WebP across all tools. HEIC is supported on the dedicated HEIC converter. GIF and BMP are converted via the standard image loaders but are not the focus.
Can I use these on my phone?
Yes. All six tools work on iOS Safari and modern Android Chrome. The drop-zone responds to tap-to-pick from your camera roll. Output download is handled by the same browser save flow you use for any other file.
What about the photo files I already uploaded to your paid service?
Anything you upload via our order form is encrypted in transit and at rest, deleted within 30 days of project completion (sooner on request), and never used for model training. Full details are in our privacy policy.
