How many family members can record messages?
There is no hard limit. We've done weddings with 4 messages and weddings with 40+ from family across 6 continents. Each message typically runs 15-45 seconds.
Will the messages disrupt the ceremony flow?
No. The messages are pre-recorded and edited into the video in post-production. During the live ceremony, your day continues naturally. The messages become a special feature of the final film you watch together afterward.
How do remote family members record their messages?
We send each contributor a private link by email. They record on their phone, laptop, or tablet — whatever they have. We give them a 5-minute tip sheet so they know to film landscape, in a quiet spot, and speak directly to camera.
What if relatives have different devices or speak different languages?
It doesn't matter. We accept any video format and any language. Our editors can also add subtitles in any language and, if you choose the multilingual service, even dub the audio.
How long does a family message video take?
Once all family members have submitted their messages (typically 1–2 weeks), final editing and seamless embedding takes 5–7 business days. We can accept last-minute submissions up to 48 hours before the wedding for a small rush fee.
